Winter 2016 Thursday Morning Workshops

ICJC presents the 5th Annual “Japanese Language (Beginner’s Level) Workshops”. The Winter 2016 workshop has 2 sessions (5 classes each) focusing on distinct themes for everyday communication and living comfortably in Japan. These classes are designed for new and returning students.

Session 1: Shopping: Asking and understanding prices / Making inquiries about items, etc. Session 1 Dates: January 14, 21, 28, February 4, 18

Session 2: At the restaurant: Asking about food, ordering, paying, etc.
Session 2 Dates: February 25, March 3, 10, 17, 24

Workshop Registration Information and Schedule

Day: Thursdays - specific dates listed above.
Time: 10:30AM – 12:00PM
Location: ICJC Building (Annex First Floor)
Fee: One session (5 classes): ¥12,500 + ¥2,000 supplies fee
Class Limit: 4-10 students
Teacher Profile: Tomoko Tsuji has a varied background living, working and teaching in settings with foreigners. Having lived in Holland from 1993-1996, Tsuji sensei began teaching Japanese as a hobby. She felt a close kinship with teaching and eventually pursued her Japanese teaching license graduating in 2000. Her forte is combining Japanese language and culture in courses designed to inspire and stimulate student’s individual learning abilities.
It is recommended students register for one full workshop session. Class size minimum is required or class will be cancelled. Each workshop session requires separate registration and should be made by one week in advance by emailing Confirmation will be sent out automatically.
